# Basic settings

# Home page

Opening the main settings, we see two windows: "Administrators" and "About chat"

  • The section "Administrators" contains a list of all administrators in the chat with links to their profiles. Below is the "refresh administrators" button, which is equivalent to the /reload command sent to the chat.

Warning

The word "Administrators" in the bot settings means users who can change the bot's settings. They do not correspond to the administrators of your group.

  • In the section "About chat" there is information about the chat. You can find there:
    • Your chat ID;
    • Chat name;
    • Tariff type;
    • Date and time when the tariff expires,
    • Possibility to extend the tariff;
    • Chat language;
    • Toggle for deleting system messages about pinning messages in a chat.

Below is the window with the input of the bot token for branding - only for the Ultimate tariff. This function allows you to "change" the avatar and name of our bot in your chat, to make your bot unique.

So, the basic settings. The first item is a description for the chat directory. In the future, a directory of groups will be organized, where new users by interests will be able to find you. In the meantime, you can leave a small description for your chat here.

The second window is your chat rules and the command /rules. Write your group rules in a text editor and group members can read them at any time. It is also logical to mention this command in the welcome message. Leave the text editor field blank if you do not want to use this command. Toggle "Enable rules command for all users" enables it for users, otherwise it will be available only to administrators.

First list - a list of users who can change the bot's settings. Please note that such people will not automatically be subject to restrictions.

Second List - a list of users who are not subject to the bot's restrictions.

Next are the two "white lists". They can contain either usernames (separated by a space; you can use at the beginning "@") of users, or user IDs in the form: id: identifier.

The toggle switch "Allow chat administrators to control the bot in the chat as well" you can automatically allow all administrators to configure the bot.

Here you can configure the /report command, add users who will receive a notification of a complaint, enable sending a complaint to administrators and deleting the sent message from the chat.
